Boyhood

Boyhood' focuses primarily on Mason Jr (Coltrane). The story begins with Mason at 6 years old. He and his sister Samantha (Linklater) living with their newly divorced mother played by Patricia Arquette. Early on we witness her struggle being a single mom, trying to balance out going to school, working and keeping her children in line. Mason is some what of an adventurer and scoundrel early on. Hanging with much older kids, we see him spray painting bridges, skipping out on homework, and well....just being a young boy.

Trouble with the Cur

$Watch Trouble with the Curve 9Movies-A great film for sports fans and non sports fans alike. Great drama and acting by Clint Eastwood and Amy Adams. They really make a believable father and daughter. Justin Timberlake was also good as a washed up pitcher turned baseball scout. It follows a story of a baseball scout (Eastwood) who is getting towards the end of his career, and scouting the potential number one pick for the Atlanta Braves. Eastwood is definitely getting up there but he can still act and plays this part perfectly. The film moves along good, and is enjoyable from start to finish. It has laughs, drams and some romance. Great for a couple or for the family. An added bonus if you\'re a baseball fan.$

$Watch Stolen 9Movies-Stolen follows a former thief frantically searching for his missing daughter, who has been kidnapped and locked in the trunk of a taxi, while trying to avoid FBI agents convinced he is lying and looking to find the money he stole 8 years prior. While the story seems like Taken it really isn\'t. Yeah there are similarities, but really no more than there is in tons of other action thrillers in this genre. The story here is more straight-forward and on a smaller scale, but still works fairly well. Cage delivers a bit more of a relaxed performance, but still manages to execute some of his over the top performance in there from time to time. Luckily it\'s usually when it is needed so doesn\'t distract too much from the overall film. The supporting cast is pretty good featuring Malin Ackerman, Mark Valley, Danny Huston, and Josh Lucas who seemed to take over with the over the top delivery here. While a bit silly at times, Lucas character still works decently. What really make this film work at all are the decent action and the clever robbery scenarios. It has become pretty rare to deliver something all that interesting in film bank jobs, but here they did some pretty creative stuff.$

The four plots involve a young small-town Italian couple who arrive in Rome right after their marriage; a retired opera director (Allen) and his wife who come to Rome to join their daughter, who has fallen in love with a young Italian lawyer; a famous architect (Alec Baldwin) who interposes himself into the life of a young U.S. architecture student living in Rome; and an ordinary citizen (Roberto Benigni) who overnight inexplicably finds himself a major celebrity.$

Red Lights (2012)

$Watch Red Lights 9Movies-Psychologist Dr Margaret Matheson (Sigourney Weaver) and her protégé physicist Tom Buckley (Cillian Murphy) debunk fake psychics and purveyors of fake ESP, poltergeist phenomena and the like. When renowned blind psychic Simon Silver comes out of retirement for a major high profile (and money spinning) series of theatrical events, Buckley wants to go for him, but Margaret is not so keen. The hook for this movie is whether or not Silver\'s psychic powers are genuine, or whether his simply another fake, and the audience is kept guessing (and kept guessing very well) for the length of the movie. But there are other good things here - the story never proceeds exactly as you expect it to, there are some very unexpected turns in the path taken, and you are kept engaged all the way through, with a satisfying ending. It must be said that once you think about it for 10 minutes afterwards, the whole thing falls to pieces, but that doesn\'t diminish the enjoyment you got from it while it was in progress. Weaver is good - probably as good as she has ever been - De Niro is solid, and Murphy is OK, albeit somewhat hamstrung by what the plot requires Buckley\'s character to be. Elizabeth Olsen and Toby Jones are both good in supporting roles. There is an unpleasantly violent sequence towards the end, which went beyond what I felt was necessary to achieve its purpose but, otherwise, I enjoyed the telling of this story.$

Alice awakens in the heart of Umbrella\'s clandestine operations, and discovers more secrets of his mysterious past as delves into the complex. With a frantic pace, all scenes are loaded with zombies, explosions, monsters, shootings and fights. It\'s difficult to breathe between one sequence and another, since the great 3D takes you into the screen. This is what most resembles the games: the Red Queen commands the action, announcing where the protagonists will then separating the battles in stages where characters must dodge enemies - like La Plagas and the Axemen. Just one joystick to get you into the action. Anderson came up with an ingenious way of bringing back characters who had suffered brutal deaths in the previous films, including Rain (Michelle Rodriguez, and always great playing several characters) and Jill Valentine (Sienna Guillory in acting weak and full of catchphrases). Carlos (Oded Fehr, great), Luther West (Boris Kodjoe, good) and Albert Wesker (Shawn Roberts) also return in style. Who gives a show is China\'s Li Bingbing (\'The Forbidden Kingdom\'), who lives Ada Wong, Wesker agent that fights alongside Alice. Very comfortable in the role, she will win over fans of the games and movies. Johann Urb also shows great talent as Leon Scott Kennedy. The sequence in which Alice appears as a simple housewife in the suburbs is the best, showing that what is missing is the action excessive leave aside and return to the horror genre - Anderson seems to know that driving with more wisdom. \'Resident Evil 5: Retribution\' will appeal to fans of the franchise and action movies, with breathtaking sequences and doses of suspense and laughs volunteers - but starts to show some wear. Is your brain off and watch a dazzling game without being in charge of the Joystick.$

Filled with superb direction,great performances and memorable characters Lawless is one of the best films of the year. Lawless tells the true(although probably fictionalized)story of the Bondurant brothers Jack Bondurant(Shia LaBeouf)and his older brothers Forrest Bondurant(Tom Hardy)and Howard Bondurant(Jason Clarke) who sell illegal liquor during Prohibition in Franklin County,Virginia during the depression era and having great success. But when a corrupt lawman from Chicago named Charlie Rakes(Guy Pierce) has been brought in as a new special deputy to make life tough for the Bondurants and their business,the Bondurants must band together and put a stop to it. Lawless is a great film from beginning to end that will have you glued to the screen but will divide viewers because in it\'s own way Lawless subverts the gangster movie genre because it\'s not a morality tale or a rise and fall gangster film like we\'ve seen in the past it\'s a story about a family of brothers trying to survive and defend themselves from enemies. The direction by John Hillcoat is wonderful, bringing the same grit and style that Hillcoat brought to the underrated,overlooked western The Proposition and his other underrated film the Cormac McCarthy adaptation The Road. Of these three films,Lawless is definitely the lightest of the three. The movie isn\'t \$
