The Call

Jordan Turner (Oscar winning Halle Berry of "Monster's Ball") is a seasoned 911 operator. She responds to a call early on involving a home invasion. Jordan converses with a young girl alone in the house while she dispatches a police cruiser. The desperate girl takes refuge under an upstairs bed like the heroine in "Taken" while the intruder prowls the premises. Satisfied nobody is home, the intruder prepares to depart. Jordan loses her connection with the girl and calls her back. The ring tone of the cell phone alerts the intruder, and he finds the girl. He speaks to our heroine and assures her that the girl is as good as dead. Later, the police find the body of the unfortunate girl, and it isn't a pretty sight. Jordan suffers from nightmares about the incident, and her boyfriend, LA.P.D. Officer Paul Phillips (Morris Chestnut of "Half-Past Dead"), can do nothing to relieve her anxiety. Jordan remembers the killer's icy voice with chilling familiarity. Six months after this tragic incident, Jordan is showing rookies how to deal with all kinds of emergency callers. Predictably, Jordan finds herself drawn back into the fray when a green 911 operator cannot handle a call from a frenzied girl.

$Watch Prom 9Movies-A group of teenagers get ready for their high school prom. So what else is there to say about this movie? Well the acting is not bad, and although young, these actors are already showing potential for being good actors. However, most audience members may be caught up in the dramatic actions these teens do in the movie. However, I believe the teenage girls will be focused more on the sulky, pouty, and rebel nature of the main dude and will be making various sounds that represent their attraction to the man. At least that was what I saw when I saw this movie. Another thing is that the soundtrack is very mainstream radio with songs from All Star Weekend, Taio Cruz, and yes even Katy Perry being played throughout the movie. It adds zest to the film and makes one feel like they are in prom, but if you\'re not a fan of mainstream radio then you will not enjoy it. The camera work is nice too, and the setting does actually feel like a high school setting so that\'s another thing I find positive. However this movie was also like being in high school musical, except get rid of the singing and dancing and instead replace it with Twilight qualities.$

During the Blue Moon Festival, an evil but wacky wizard named Gargamel chases Papa, Clumsy, Brainy, Grouchy, Gutsy, and Smurfette into a vortex and transports them to New York City. (It\'s a classic fish-out-of-water story) They seek refuge with Patrick and Grace Winslow, a couple who are expecting a baby. The Smurfs drive Patrick crazy and almost cost him his job. They try to bring the vortex back before Gargamel captures them. This is definitely a movie I would see again and again. I highly recommend THE SMURFS!!!$

If this summer movie season where the Olympics, I\'d say Cap took the gold. First Class grabbed the silver and Thor finished fractions out of first with the bronze. Pirates, Hangover 2, Super 8 and Transformers finished out of the money and Green Lantern came up lame and didn\'t even finish the race. It\'s been a great summer. Everyone might as well label it correctly… a MARVELous summer! I just loved Captain America. I thought it was smart and the impressive cast really delivered! This movie works on so many levels and makes you draw on just about all of your emotions. I don\'t remember when I enjoyed a movie this much!$

The supporting cast, especially Phyllis Smith and Thomas Lennon, is pitch-perfect and Justin Timberlake shows that he is more than just a pretty face. It\'s an easy and entertaining film that I\'d be happy to watch again. Yes, it\'s unrealistic at times and a little predictable but how many movies these days aren\'t? If you like comedies such as The Hangover, Eurotrip, Forgetting Sarah Marshall or anything by Judd Apatow you\'ll probably enjoy this. Now go see it!$

It was better then I expected back in 2006 when CARS made it\'s debut it was aimed at younger children like my son who was 2 years old when he saw it in the theatre and it captured his attention. Now my don id 7 years old and his youngest brother is 2 years old and we took them to see CARS 2. They LOVED IT. Cars 2 is not made for adults it is made for kids pure and simple but Cars 2 grew up with it\'s audience. the theme is the same it is about friendship and being there for your friends and This time it is also about not being afraid to be yourself. The Story is not complicated which is good because it is a kids movie after all and those should never be too complicated. There is more action in this one then the first one and maybe a better story in this one then the first. The only drawback is no Paul Newman who sadly died before he could take his part as Doc Hudson . But We did Get Michael Caine as Finn Mcmissile a secret agent in the James Bond mold. The magic continues. See it and make your mind up for yourself Pixar didn\'t stumble when they made this flick. They grew up and brought more of the magic with them for us to enjoy.$

What you get is a wholesome family entertainment, coupled with a bunch of adorable penguins. When a busy father neglects his family for the sake of his career, it takes a gift from his own father to realise just what a terrible mistake he is making. That gift comes in the a brood of penguins who, for some reason, takes a liking to silent movies :) Finally, the father understands what family is all about. An excellent time for everyone. The children will be delighted, I guarantee.$
