Soap: The rescue team frees Jodie, Maggie, and Wendy from the fortress. Jessica forgives Mary, who tells Jessica she is an alcoholic. Danny learns Gwen has left him. Mary embarrasses Burt in front of the governor. Jessica is left dissatisfied after finally sleeping with El. Chester and Annie announce that they're married, but Chester's jealous nature puts an end to their wedded bliss. Sad and lonely, Danny and Annie bond. Jodie and Maggie talk seriously about marriage, which prompts Jodie to seek therapy.
