Magnum, P.I.: Rick is feeling down one night after learning that a woman he was getting serious about is getting married and meets a beautiful young woman named Sara, dressed in a white veil. The two form a friendship, and she tells him about being terrorised by a man named Henry Ellison after she didn't return his love. During a walk on the beach, she seems to disappear into thin air, prompting Rick to ask Magnum to look into her disappearance. The two learn that Sara apparently committed suicide thirty-five years earlier, but also hear the rumors that she was murdered and that her ghost has often been seen on the beach. Magnum digs into both the past and present to find if there is logical explanation and if someone is impersonating Sara, or if it really was something more ethereal that Rick encountered.
